Error Sweeper scans the Windows Registry in the background, whilst you continue working as normal. The software checks for errors in the registry, including file associations, fonts, drivers, Windows system services, invalid shortcuts, application paths, programs in your Add/Remove programs list, share files such as Windows DLL files as well as Active X controls. The registry correction is automatic and works without requiring you to know anything about the problems encountered apart from that you’d like them fixed. The program can be run manually by you or, for a small extra fee, can be set to run automatically. Error Sweeper also gives you a list of programs that run on Windows start up and could therefore slow down your machine when it starts. There isn’t much help with this beyond listing the files and their locations, so it would be advisable to be careful before removing any of these entries. |
